Mr John Burns - Head of School
My name is John Burns. I am originally from Adelaide, South Australia. This is my fifteenth year as a School Principal including eight years in Australia and seven years in International Schools. Previously I was the Co-Head of School at the MEF International School, Istanbul, Turkey and also the Head of School at the Medan International School, Indonesia. In the past seven years I have worked in leading International Baccalaureate, International Schools, using Information Communication Technology and Brain Theory methodologies to enhance students' learning. It is now the third year of operation at the ACG International School, Vietnam. We have quickly grown to 400 students with a reputation for wonderful facilities and high quality teaching and learning programmes for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary School students. ACG offers students an outstanding international education centered on inquiry, enduring understandings and lifelong learning. We prepare students to be responsible, productive, ethical and healthy world citizens, who are able to think creatively, reason critically and communicate effectively. At the core of any great School is its teaching staff. ACG teachers and administrators are experienced and highly qualified professionals who are committed to the learning and development of each student.
